Why are faces blanked out or cropped? There's two reasons. First, this website is about the Hill Fire Department as a whole not individual personalities. It is also about HFD connecting to our neighbors, serving our community, and assisting area residents in a time of need. Second, it's a privacy issue. There are many who do not want their pictures on the internet and instead of trying to keep track of who cares and who doesn't a blanket policy was made to not put *any* faces on the page.
